DAY 1: HO CHI MINH – LONG XUYEN – CHAU DOC (L, D)

In the morning, our guide will pick you up at the hotel and depart for Chau Doc. On the way you have lunch with Halal food in Long Xuyen City.

In the afternoon, you continue to move to Chau Doc, check in at a hotel here.

After having a rest, you will visit:

A Cham Village which is very famous for Jamiul-azhar Mosque. Among dozens of mosques in the Cham cultural village, Jamiul Azhar Mosque is the most beautiful and impressive church ever here. This place is a famous tourist destination with cultural features and unique Muslim life, and still preserves the traditional customs of stilt houses of the river region. You will have a chance to learn, explore the impressive artistic architecture of the mosques, the Cham culture in daily life and traditional brocade weaving of the Cham people in An Giang.

The Mubarak mosque, which is said to have been built in 1750 and renovated in 1808, is one of the oldest mosques of the Cham community in An Giang.

Have dinner in a Hala restaurant with famous Hala specialties of the Cham people in the village.

DAY 2: CAI BE FLOATING VILLAGE – HO CHI MINH CITY (B, L)

After breakfast, you take a boat to visit Ca Be floating Village:  learn about the origin of raft farming on the river, and how to raise raft fish of the Chau Doc people. The village with floating houses, fish rafts lined up next to each other for a few kilometers along the river. You will have a chance to explore, to learn about the profession and life of the people here. The interesting thing about Chau Doc floating fish village is that visitors not only learn about Basa fish farming, know more interesting things about this fish, but also experience some precious daily life moments of the people here.

Then back to Chau Doc and have Hala lunch.

In the afternoon, you will go back to Ho Chi Minh City
