The splendid beauty of “blue paradise” right in Vietnam

Bac Son valley was once praised by tourism website When On Earth as beautiful as “green paradise on earth”. It still retains the wild beauty with towering limestone mountains, fresh climate, green fields….

Bac Son is a district in Lang Son province and is about 160 km north of Hanoi. If you want to come here, you can follow Highway 3 to Thai Nguyen, then follow National Highway 1B for nearly 80 km.

It is not only famous as a historical place but also known as a rich valley with breathtaking scenery

If you just go on the road around the town in the middle of the valley, you won’t be able to fully appreciate the beauty of this place

Bac Son still has a beauty of its own that cannot be found anywhere else

This is a valley completely surrounded by limestone mountains, with a blue river running through the middle, weaving, cutting through the green fields.

When climbing the surrounding mountains with an altitude of 500 – 1,000m, you can truly feel the overwhelming and poetic beauty of Bac Son valley.

Bac Son is a district with many archaeological sites about prehistoric people, where archaeologists have discovered an entire civilization of the ancient Vietnamese people, in the Neolithic Diagram, named Bac Son culture.

In addition, it was also an army base (Bac Son – Vo Nhai base), where the Bac Son fought against the Japanese and French forces of the Viet Minh in the 1940s.

Bac Son residents include Kinh, Nung, Dao, Tay… with typical traditional stilt houses, adorning Bac Son landscape, which is more rustic and peaceful.

Bac Son land is fertile, people mainly do farming, especially wet rice with two main crops per year. In addition, they also cultivate more corn, potatoes and raise cattle and poultry.

The special thing about Bac Son field is that the fields here are not completely planted at the same time, creating a giant “brocade” with many unique colors, interwoven between ripe rice fields, green rice fields brings a different feeling to those who can see it with their own eyes.
