Vietnam has become a great destination for many foreign tourists because of its landscapes as inspiring works of natural art.
1/ Phong Nha – Ke Bang
This destination is located in Quang Binh province and the limestone “works” here were created by 5 rivers that cut across the area for millions of years, becoming a perfect work of mother nature.
Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park was established to protect 300 caves and forest ecosystems on limestone mountains spread over a very large area, in which Son Doong, the largest cave on Earth, is the collection point and the most attractive here.
However, long before Son Doong was discovered, Phong Nha – Ke Bang was known as a top destination in Vietnam with the wonderful Paradise Cave and Phong Nha Cave.
2/ Ban Gioc Waterfall
Ban Gioc Waterfall is a little-known destination, but it is truly a hidden gem for nature lovers and explorers. Located in the Northeast of Vietnam in Cao Bang province, at a height of 30m and a width of 300m, Ban Gioc waterfall is the widest waterfall in Vietnam, creating an impressive sight of nature. Ban Gioc Waterfall changes with the seasons: In spring, fire-like red flowers dot the background, in autumn the waterfall turns yellow under the sunset.
3/ Ha Long Bay
As its name suggests, Ha Long is the land where dragons landed. This is a rather poetic explanation of thousands of small islands scattered over an area of 434km2. The geographical landscape of Ha Long Bay is the result of complex geological processes spanning more than 500 million years.
This is where there are the splendid landscapes in Vietnam with beautiful and unique limestone caves such as Dau Go cave, Sung Sot cave, Thien Cung cave.
4/ Nha Trang
If you don’t like big caves or limestone island bays, come to Nha Trang to ride the waves and enjoy seafood. Nha Trang offers the best beach vacation with a wide range of exciting activities and entertainments like scuba diving and skydiving.
Hon Mun Marine Conservation Area is a paradise for hundreds of species of coral. Coming to Nha Trang, you will have an exciting adventure.
5/ Ha Giang
Coming to Ha Giang, the first thing you see is the stretching mountains, with the Dong Van plateau covering a large area with pebbles and limestone mountains known as the ‘rock garden’. Tu San – the deepest canyon in the plateau offers breathtaking views over the Ma Pi Leng pass.
Coming to Ha Giang is coming to the indigenous culture of ethnic minorities. Local markets in Ha Giang such as Dong Van market and Meo Vac market offer an insight into the indigenous culture of the ethnic minorities here.
Hoang Su Phi terraced fields in Ha Giang are unmatched anywhere in Vietnam. Located right next to Tay Con Linh mountain, the rice fields here are often embraced by white clouds, becoming more and more splendid in the harvest season.
6/ Mui Ne
Mui Ne is the tourist center of kitesurfing because the wind blows strong almost all year round. Mui Ne beach is incredibly blue, creating very good conditions for beachside activities such as swimming, surfing, scuba diving and especially kitesurfing.
Not only the beach, Mui Ne is also famous for its white and red sand dunes. These sand dunes are perfect locations for photography. But if you are looking for something really different, come to Suoi Tien – which has the same physical features as that of another planet.
7/ Ninh Binh
You will find in Ninh Binh a magnificent and harmonious natural complex embracing sacred and mysterious temples. Hike up Mua mountain for amazing views, rent a boat to go between the cliffs in Van Long Nature Reserve, go to Tam Coc in the harvest season to admire the golden rice fields along the Ngo Dong River or winding in Trang An, which is considered “Ha Long on land” will make visitors satisfied with this wonderful tour. Ninh Binh is still considered one of the most beautiful places in Vietnam.
8/ Bac Son valley
The scenery in Bac Son valley is unique and beautiful. The rice fields are nestled between two cone-shaped cliffs, scattered next to the Tay ethnic villages and embellished by a river flowing through. Coming to Bac Son in the harvest season, you will have the opportunity to be touched by the magic of nature, especially at sunset or dawn.
9/ Moc Chau – Pha Luong Mountain
Pha Luong has impressive beauty, and the reward when climbing to the top of the mountain is that visitors will enjoy the perfect natural scenery of Laos and Vietnam. At an altitude of 2000m, Pha Luong peak looks out into the air, providing an exciting experience of standing and facing the majestic scenery of clouds hugging the mountains below.
10/ Hang Rai – Ninh Thuan
Hang Rai or Hang Rai Ca in Ninh Thuan is a place only domestic tourists and photographers visit, completely untouched by mass tourism. Come to Hang Rai at sunset to feel the magnificence of nature and don’t forget to bring your best camera.
11/ Ta Nang – Phan Dung trail
Ta Nang – Phan Dung trekking route is extremely attractive to tourists. With a total length of 50km spanning 3 provinces, bad road conditions and a collection of mysterious events, Ta Nang – Phan Dung can challenge any adventurer both physically and mentally. . However, it absolutely deserves to be considered as the most beautiful trekking route in Vietnam with great scenery.
